Peak Performance
Sports was founded and
is operated by Dave
Bagley. Dave went to
Rancho Bernardo High
School in San Diego,
CA. He earned a
baseball scholarship
to the University of
San Diego following
his senior year. After
2 seasons he was
drafted in the 7th
round of the 2002 MLB
amateur draft as a
third baseman by the
Los Angeles Dodgers.
Dave played for 3
professional seasons
before a shoulder
injury caused him to
retire from baseball
early. He returned to
USD in 2006 to
complete his
undergraduate studies.
In 2007, he
graduated from the
University of San
Diego with a
bachelor's degree in
Business
Administration.
“I
had many injuries
through college and
professional baseball.
While rehabbing my
shoulder at
Physiotherapy,
a rehab and training
center for
professional athletes,
in
Tempe, Arizona, I
started doing this
speed & agility
training program. I
have never been in
better shape from my
core through my legs.
I had to retire from
baseball early due to
my shoulder injury in
2005. I never had a
program like this
growing up through
high school or college
and couldn’t help
but imagine how much
better a player I
would have been and
how many injuries I
could have avoided
with a program like
this. I want to make
sure athletes can take
advantage of this kind
of training at an
early age so they can
play at peak performance and
not have to leave the
game due to injuries.”
