Peak Performance HITTRAX
Peak Performance is proud to offer two HitTrax systems in the facility. HitTrax® is revolutionary technology that focuses on data capture and game simulations while providing powerful performance metrics for hitting, pitching, and catching.

HitTrax Hitting:
Maximize exit velo and optimize launch angles by capturing real-time metrics and observing results immediately after impact. Swing with purpose.

-
Exit Velocity: The measured speed of which the ball leaves the bat after impact.
-
Launch Angle: The measured vertical and horizontal angles of the batted ball’s trajectory
-
Distance
-
Point of Impact: Where did batted ball impact occur in relation to home plate. Did the batter get out in front, or were they late and struck the ball deep in the zone?
-
Play Outcome
-
Strike Zone Analysis
-
High Speed Video w/ integrated metrics

HitTrax Pitching:
Go head-to-head with a batter while simultaneously capturing all pitch and resulting hit metrics. Results matter, so paint the corners and build your arsenal.

-
PITCH VELOCITY
-
Measured speed of the pitch at home plate, as well as peak/out-of-hand speed.
-
-
PITCH LOCATION
-
Where the pitch crossed home plate, broken down into 9 strike zone and 4 outside zone segments.
-
-
LATE BREAK OF PITCH
-
Vertical and horizontal movement of a pitch, shown in both side and overhead views.
-
-
PITCH ANGLE
-
The angle of the pitch as it crosses home plate.
-
-
BATTING AVERAGE AGAINST
-
Throw live At Bats and see how batters stack up against a player’s arsenal of pitches.
-

Hittrax Catching:
-
POP TIME The time elapsed from the moment the pitch hits the catcher’s mitt, to the moment the 2nd baseman is projected to receive the throw.
-
EXCHANGE TIME The time between when the pitch hits the catcher’s glove, to the moment the catcher releases the ball. This is also known as transition time.
-
THROW VELOCITY This is a measure of arm strength. At what velocity does the ball travel from the catcher’s hand during a throw down to second base.
-
THROW ACCURACY This combination of vertical and horizontal throw angles will determine where the fielder receives the ball, and will greatly factor into the likely outcome.
-
LIKELY OUTCOME Pop-time and throwing accuracy, along with projected runner speeds at different playing levels, help predict the effectiveness of a catcher’s performance.
